Good ol’ days
Ah, your first love; be a girl or a car, you never really forget it. Unfortunately my first car was a 1993 Toyota Corolla. This was a pass me down from my father’s company to me, with an amazing 265,000 miles on it. I hated this car, I simply hated it. But that’s not what I consider my first car.
No, I consider my 2003 Subaru WRX my first car. This is the first car that I actually wanted and the same car that I own today. I love this car, and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it. It’s part of my family now.
This is the same story for a lot of car guys. Take Eric Bana for instance. He liked his Ford XB Falcon so much that he made a movie about it!
This was Bana’s first car and he kept it and raced it. You can see the extended interview with Jeremy Clarkson up top here, and it’s quite interesting to watch.
I’m very sad I didn’t get to see this movie when it came out, but I am going to go searching for this movie because I have to watch it.
